What is Recovery Panel

Recovery Console is a command-line tool available only for these versions of Windows: XP, 2000 and Server 2003.

Install Recovery Console

Delete Recovery Console

Commands

  • listsvc – lists all available services and drivers
  • logon – lists all detected Windows installations
  • map – list bulldoze letters, types, partitioning sizes and mappings
  • md – create a new folder
  • mkdir – similar to doctor, creates a new binder
  • more – displays a text file to the screen
  • rd – delete a folder
  • rmdir – like to rd, deletes a folder
  • ren – rename a file
  • rename – similar to ren, renames a file
  • set – displays and modifies environment options
  • systemroot – set the current folder to the %SystemRoot% folder of the current Windows installation
  • blazon – displays a text file

Troubleshooting
